Kuitpo Hall serves as the start for the Kuitpo Forest Trail Run, the first event in the On The Trails Running Series 2026. The course enters Kuitpo Forest, offering a true trail-running blend of "scenic pine plantations" and "native bushland," distinct from a modified road race. Underfoot conditions include "wide forestry roads" suitable for finding a pace, followed by "winding single tracks" where the forest canopy requires focus. The event accommodates beginners, experienced runners, and walkers on shorter distances. A notable bush characteristic is the presence of "kangaroos and wallabies relaxing" in shaded areas. Post-race amenities include complimentary fruit, snacks, sponsor tents, short massages, a members-only prize draw, and the "famous chocolate brownies."
