Sobre esta prova
Szmaragd Borów is a 10 km forest race held at the Recreation Center in Ostrowite, starting and finishing by the lake. It is part of the RUN CZERSK centenary series, established to mark 100 years since Czersk was granted city rights. The event also features children's races across six age categories, catering to local families as well as runners focused on their times.
The route is a flat loop through the Tuchola Forest, passing Ostrowite, Konewki, Dąbki, and Ustronie, before returning via Konewki to Ostrowite. The terrain is primarily asphalt, with some sections of Yomb slabs and dirt, and the course is marked every kilometer. Participants receive two water points, professional timing, medical support, and assistance from volunteers, the Volunteer Fire Department, and Police. The overall series includes two distinct races with different routes, and participants completing both can earn a two-part 100th-anniversary medal.
