The Mt Glorious Mountain Trails is a 22 km mountain trail race in Queensland. It starts at Cedar Flats in Red Cedar Park, Dundas, and finishes at the clearing opposite Maiala picnic area. This hard point-to-point run, not a simple forest loop, includes 1,200 m of climbing, 650 m of descent, four checkpoints, and a four-hour time limit. Entry includes bus transport, necessary as the start and finish are in different locations.
The route climbs steeply from the valley, crosses Northbrook Mountain, and drops to England Creek for the manned midpoint checkpoint. It then climbs again toward the summit of Mount Glorious. Most of the course is on the west side of the ridge, utilizing rainforest and shaded single track. Late in the race, it follows a historic stone-lined western ridge trail, with stone stairs near the Western Window before the finish close to Maiala.
