Szamotulska Nocna Piątka 2026

The main 5 km race of Szamotulska Nocna Piątka begins at 21:55, making it a true night run through Szamotuły in Wielkopolskie. This event, officially named Szamotulska Nocna Piątka im. Bohdana Zielińskiego, is organized by Szamotulskie Stowarzyszenie Sportowe. It combines the adult 5 km race with shorter children’s and family races held earlier in the evening. The start and finish lines are located on ul. Sportowa, with the start area at ul. Sportowa 6. The 5 km route is certified by the Polish Athletics Association, ensuring official results. The course winds through town streets such as Lipowa, Szczęsnego, Kolarska, Wioślarska, Łąkowa, 3 Maja, and Staszica. Temporary traffic adjustments, detours, and parking restrictions will be in effect on race day. Families participate in the SmykoBieg Rodzinny and Smyki na Piątkę events, which include 255 m runs for younger children and a 555 m race for ages 10-15. The series has attracted a total of 3,237 participants, with one past edition seeing over 154 children in the Smyki races and 495 finishers in the night race.
