Garmin Iron Triathlon 2026

The Garmin Iron Triathlon begins its Polish series in Żyrardów, with the race starting at 8:30 a.m. near Zalew Ży. This swim-bike-run event is part of Poland's largest triathlon series, attracting approximately 800 participants. Competitors can participate individually or in relay teams, with available distances including 1/2 IM, 1/4 IM, and 1/8 IM. The 1/2 IM features a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run. Shorter distances adjust these to 0.95 km swimming, 45 km cycling, and 10.55 km running for the 1/4 IM, or 0.475 km swimming, 22.5 km cycling, and 5.25 km running for the 1/8 IM. Żyrardów is hosting the series opener for the third occasion, with AQUA Żyrardów serving as the organizational partner. The event also incorporates Garmin Junior running races for children: 200 m for ages 1-7, 500 m for ages 8-11, and 1000 m for ages 12-15.
