Race The Sun Chilterns 2027

Race The Sun Chilterns is a team multisport challenge taking place on 10 July 2027. Teams of two or four will compete in a bike, hike, and paddle event, racing against the setting sun. All team members must complete each discipline, and teams must stay together throughout the race, as their overall time is determined by the slowest member. The event is based in Pangbourne, Berkshire. The first leg is a 35-mile bike ride through the Chilterns, featuring challenging climbs and descents. This is followed by a 10-mile hike or trek through woodlands, with rolling hills and scenic valley views. The final leg is a 2-mile downstream paddle. This event serves as a fundraiser for Action Medical Research, supporting vital research for sick and vulnerable children in the UK.
