OSAKA RUNNERS TRIAL takes place within Nagai Park in Osaka, with all events commencing simultaneously in the morning on the park’s internal loop course. The schedule offers runners multiple options at the same venue: a 30km Challenge, a half marathon, a 10km race, and a half marathon relay. The longer individual races are designated for adults, the 10km is open to high school age and older, and the relay is open to junior high school age and older. The most practical detail is the pacing for the 30km race: pacers will target finish times corresponding to 4:15 to 6:00 per kilometer, with intervals of 15 seconds between pacers. This setup is beneficial for runners assessing marathon fitness or aiming for a specific pace. This event is in its fifteenth year, and it maintains straightforward logistics: Nagai Station on the Midosuji Subway Line is approximately a six-minute walk, Tsurugaoka Station on the JR Hanwa Line is about eleven minutes away, and paid parking is available within the park.
