The Melindra Trail is a 5 km run on Mount Olympus in Greece, beginning in Litochoro, Pieria. Organized by Olympus Marathon, it includes 180 meters of elevation gain within its short distance, making it more than a simple run for beginners. The race is open to male and female participants aged 12 and above; those between 12 and 18 require parental consent.
The course lacks aid stations, requiring participants to approach it as a self-sufficient mountain race and manage their own hydration and nutrition. Trail running shoes and a clearly visible race bib are compulsory. A medical certificate is not mandatory. Registration is conducted online for a fee of 10 euros, with water and fruit provided to finishers.
