Trail of Tears Remembrance Ride 2026

This remembrance ride acknowledges the humanity of those who suffered from a grave injustice committed against sovereign peoples. It's about collective modern-day responsibility, examining how systemic power can be used to silence, displace, and erase entire cultures. The route spans gravel and paved Greenway, singletrack, chunky gravel roads, and low-traffic paved roads, retracing the Trail of Tears from Pea Ridge to Tahlequah. This self-supported ride challenges participants to be a beacon of hope and change. All entry fees benefit the Cherokee Nation Foundation.
