DOGSPEED - A Benefit Race for Animals in Need! 2026

This 'come and go event' helps animals in need with the theme 'This Time With More Bark!' Run or walk a 1-mile loop starting on the front lawn of the Northeastern State University Fitness Center. The goal is to 'fill a truck with pet food and supplies' for the Humane Society. 'Every lap counts', and it's 'UNTIMED meaning you will be responsible for writing down your number of loops achieved'. Expect a 'HOT RACE', with ice baths and plenty of shade. Come move for a cause, bring your dog, and enjoy a bouncy water slide, snacks, and meet adoptable pets. Entry for DOGSPEED is a $5 fee plus a sack of dog food or supplies.
