Sobre esta prova
Varmia GRVL is a gravel bike race held in the Warmia region of northern Poland, starting in the municipality of Stawiguda each June. The event provides multiple distances: ULTRA exceeds 500 km with an afternoon start; STAGE combines a time trial with two longer stages, totaling at least 300 km; CLASSIC is approximately 160-180 km; and RIDE100 offers a route over 100 km. A Bosch eRIDE100 category is also available for electric-assisted bicycles.
The routes utilize Warmia’s gravel roads, focusing on extended off-road riding instead of closed-circuit racing or short sportive loops. The participant limit is 600 across all formats, making it smaller than large-scale gravel events. The race timing coincides with Kupala Night, the year's shortest night, lending the longer formats a distinct midsummer character.
