Om dette løpet
The Blue Ridge Adventure Race begins at the Downtown Blue Ridge Pavilion & Bandstand on East Main Street in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Held annually in May, this multi-sport race includes mountain biking, hiking, paddling, and map-and-compass navigation. Racers can choose between 8-hour and 24-hour formats, competing solo or as part of a team.
The course takes participants through North Georgia forests, rivers, and Blue Ridge Mountain terrain. Racers navigate without marked roads. This event, now in its 30th year, is Georgia's longest-running outdoor race. It attracts both experienced endurance athletes and those new to adventure racing. The race includes pre-race meetings, gear staging, a post-race meal, and awards.
