Jack Roberts Memorial 5K 2026

The Jack Roberts Memorial 5K is a Sunday morning 5K run/walk held in Leitersburg, Maryland. It begins at 8:00 a.m. at Leitersburg Ruritan Park and runs concurrently with the Leitersburg Ruritan Peach Festival, linking the race to a local festival weekend instead of being a standalone event. The route commences and concludes at the park on Leiter Street, serving both runners and walkers in the same 5K. Following operational costs, funds are directed to the Jack Roberts Field of Interest Fund, which aids adolescent and young adult mental health and suicide prevention initiatives, and to the Leitersburg Ruritan Scholarship Fund. Packet pickup is also coordinated with the festival, offering a Saturday option at the Peach Festival Hospitality Tent and race-day pickup in the Community Center Gymnasium.
