South Orange Family YMCA Kid's Triathlon 2026

The South Orange Family YMCA Kid's Triathlon, sanctioned by USAT, takes place at the Prisma Health Family YMCA on Labor Day. It is designed for young athletes of all experience levels, featuring a shorter Kinder Tri for ages 4 to 8 and a longer Junior Tri for ages 6 to 15. The Kinder Tri includes a 25-yard swim, 1-mile bike ride, and quarter-mile run. The Junior Tri consists of a 100-yard swim, 4-mile bike ride, and 1-mile run. Families can remain on-site for activities and entertainment in the Triathlon Village, with refreshments provided to finishers. Registration covers a USAT annual membership, t-shirt, swim cap, and medal. YMCA membership is not required, and scholarships are available.
