Run For Life 2026

The annual Run For Life begins at Camp Thunderbird, located near the River Hills community in Lake Wylie. The River Hills/Lake Wylie Lions Club hosts this event, which supports Type 1 Diabetes and Childhood Cancer Programs, upholding a tradition of service. Runners will appreciate the course's rolling hills, tree-lined roads, and views of the lake and golf course within the lakeside community. Families can use the stroller-friendly sidewalks for a more relaxed experience. Event proceeds sponsor children's attendance at Camp Sweet Escape, helping them learn to live with this disease.
