Outlaw Trail Ultra Half Marathon 2026

The Outlaw Trail Ultra Half Marathon begins at Diamondfield Jack Campground in Idaho’s Sawtooth National Forest, located approximately 45 minutes southeast of Twin Falls and close to Magic Mountain Ski Area. This point-to-point trail half marathon trends mostly downhill, proceeding north through the Rock Creek Recreation Area toward Third Fork Campground. The initial 3 miles traverse Deadline Ridge Road, a rugged jeep and ATV path, after which the course transitions to roughly 10 miles of single-track trail. The event is named for Diamondfield Jack, an early local outlaw, and commences at the campground bearing his name.
