Chminianskonovovesský beh 2026

Chminianskonovovesský beh is a short village race in Chminianska Nová Ves, with the start and finish at OŠK Sokol Stadium. The event takes place in August, beginning in the early evening. It features a 4.60 km running race and a Nordic Walking option over the same distance. This is a compact local event, not a long road race; the course gains only 20 meters. The challenge lies in pace, footing, and the mix of surfaces, rather than climbing. The route remains within and near the village, starting and finishing on the football field. Approximately two thirds of the course is asphalt, with the remainder being dirt road. Views of the surrounding area are available along the way. Runners collect their numbers before the start. The post-race arrangements are simple and social: participants receive food upon returning their race number, refreshments are available after the race, and the starter pack contains beer and sponsor items.
