Vangsåsen opp 2026 - Ritt 1 av 2

Vangsåsen Opp is a two-race cycling series held in August. Both races begin at 18:00, covering the same approximately 20 km course. The initial race commences at Mesta by Trehjørningen, close to the Norwegian Public Roads Administration facility above Narmokrysset, concluding at Gåsbu. This format presents riders with a straightforward objective: complete the route once, return a few weeks later, and aim to improve their previous time. The route crosses Fv 60 past Vårtun and enters Lier, then directs onto a forest road towards Puttsjøen before ascending Fjellvegen. Participants then descend Fjellvegen back to Gåsbu, with the finish located within the initial cabin area. Categories adhere to Norwegian Cycling Federation regulations, accommodating riders seeking a well-organized local competition and those primarily focused on achieving a personal best on the identical route across both events.
