Trail Grigne Sud 2026

The Trail Grigne Sud begins and ends in Mandello del Lario, a town on Lake Como in Lombardy situated at the base of the Grigne mountains. This mountain trail race offers two primary distances: the TGS Extreme, covering approximately 42 km with 3,700 meters of elevation gain, and the TGS Sprint, approximately 22 km with 1,800 meters of elevation gain. The courses ascend from the lake towards the southern Grigne range, crossing steep, technical paths with the organizers as “chamois trails.” Participants in the longer race might reach summits like Monte Pilastro and Monte Silegio, encountering challenging ascents and expansive vistas of Lake Como. The event is managed by A.S.D. Polisportiva Mandello, attracts participants globally, and is a qualifying race for both the UTMB World Series and the Coppa Italia FISky.
