Gessi Beer Trail 2026

Gessi Beer Trail is a competitive trail race in Borgo Tossignano, a town in Emilia-Romagna’s Santerno valley. Participants start in the morning in late September and race on an off-road course within the Parco della Vena del Gesso Romagnola. The beer theme connects to local festival culture, not a typical road-race setup. The route is challenging, reaching the banks of San Biagio. It uses the gypsum ridge park and river valley around Borgo Tossignano as its setting. The race is supported by the municipality, Team Try It, and InBirriamoci, the association behind the Festa dla Béra. It follows local trail events like Trail del Marrone and Raviolo Trail.
