6th Gyros Siderokastrou 2026 - 1000m Children's Race

The 1000m Children's Race is the kids' event within Gyros Siderokastrou in Siderokastro, Messenia. It is a free 1 km race for primary school students, run in the evening with a 19:15 start. The race starts and finishes at the Central Square of Siderokastro, built around the village centre rather than a long road course. The Folklore & Beautification Association of Siderokastro “Dimosthenis Kakkavaras” organizes it; a companion may run with a child, and minors need written parental consent.
