Herzlauf Steiermark is an evening road race in St. Barbara im Mürztal, located in the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district of Styria. The event takes place at the Volksschule and Mittelschule in Mitterdorf, offering 3.5 km, 7 km, and 10.5 km runs, alongside a 3.5 km Nordic Walking option. This race is part of the broader Herzlauf series across Austria, with other events scheduled in Vienna, Salzburg, Vorarlberg, Carinthia, Tyrol, Lower Austria, and Upper Austria. The Steiermark event focuses on short, manageable distances instead of a marathon challenge, making it suitable for walkers, novices, school groups, and runners seeking a brief evening competition.
