Informazioni su questa gara
The Carrera Popular Nocturna Noche de San Juan is a night road race through the historic center of Jaén, held on San Juan night in late June. It starts and finishes in Plaza de Santa María, so runners gather beside one of the city’s main heritage squares before heading into the old streets after dark. The event is organized by Jaén’s Municipal Sports Board and is open to men and women in the listed age categories.
The route runs through streets, plazas, and monuments inside Jaén’s Historic Ensemble, with the city’s heritage lit by streetlights instead of daytime sun. Recent editions have kept the same course because runners responded well to it, while the organizers still want to add more streets, squares, and monuments over time. Plaza de Santa María also hosts activities around the race, giving the evening more of a local festival feel than a simple start-and-finish setup.
