Mapei Tour de Zalakaros 2026

Mapei Tour de Zalakaros is a June road cycling weekend held at Karos Korzó in Zalakaros, a spa town near Lake Balaton. It is one of Hungary’s most popular cycling events, with over 22,200 entries recorded across past editions. The program accommodates a wide range of participants: serious racers, touring riders, company teams, families, and children each have their own suitable distance or category. The options include long road-marathon distances of 137 km and 66 km, shorter rides of approximately 34-38 km, and a 0.9 km children’s race. The event uses Karos Korzó as its center, featuring registration, package pickup, a cycling expo, and partner stands displaying bike products. The SPIRIT AUTO - SKODA Road Marathon runs concurrently with a 38 km Company Challenge, a VIP Tour guided by Bianchi ambassador Csaba Zsiga, and a Kids’ Ride on a separate course. Spectators are also involved: organizers encourage cheering with whistles and drums, and the first evening features music from DJ Kárász. The race is in its eighteenth edition, establishing a local tradition rather than a fleeting event.
