Maratonina - Città di Udine 2026

The Maratonina - Città di Udine is a fast half marathon held in Udine, located in Italy’s Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The course begins in Piazza Primo Maggio and concludes on via Vittorio Veneto, covering the standard 21.097-kilometre distance on a smooth road. The event is open to FIDAL members and Run Card holders, attracting both licensed club runners and a wider field of road racers. Approximately 1,200 runners typically register, with the connected StraUdine event bringing in several hundred more participants. The leading runners often achieve quick times; the men’s podium has been dominated by Kenyan athletes, with winning times near 1 hour 3 minutes. The women’s race has seen champions and podium finishers from Eritrea, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Local Friulian runners are also recognized with the Premio Faustino Anzil, presented to the top local finishers.
