SMArt RUN 7 2026

SMArt RUN 7 is a charity running and Nordic Walking event in Jerzmanowice, in the Jerzmanowice-Przeginia commune of southern Poland. It is held in August, a month used by SMA families to draw attention to spinal muscular atrophy, and it is organized by the SMA Foundation with the commune mayor. Runners can choose 5 km or 10 km, while Nordic Walking participants cover 5 km, and the event is open to adults and children, including children under 12 running with a guardian. The start is on ul. Rajska in Jerzmanowice, by the sports field, with a 3-hour time limit that also allows people to complete the distance by fast walk or a slower walk. The point is not only racing: participants may dedicate their effort to a person living with SMA, and the money raised supports people with SMA and their families. Medals, awards, a fan zone, and side attractions give it the feel of a family community day rather than a standard road race.
