ATW Grafham Triathlon

The ATW Grafham Triathlon offers Sprint and Standard distances at Grafham Water, with both races included in the East Region Adult Race Series. The Sprint consists of a 750m swim, 17km bike, and 5km run. The Standard distance doubles the swim and run distances and extends the bike leg to 38km. This event is suitable for experienced athletes seeking a fast course, and also for those new to open-water multisport. The swim takes place in Grafham Water reservoir over a 750m loop, with one lap for Sprint participants and two for Standard. The bike course is a flat out-and-back route, with the turn-around point at Perry for the Sprint and St Neots for the Standard. The run is a flat 5k lap on natural footpaths surrounding Grafham Water, crossing the dam wall and passing the finish and transition area each lap. Grafham Water has a history of hosting award-winning triathlons, national championships, and GB qualifier races, indicating its suitability for a range of competitors.
