About this race

Nature is Bike is a gravel and adventure cycling festival in Angers, Maine-et-Loire, western France. It takes place over a weekend and was the first French event dedicated to gravel riding, featuring riding as its core with a broader festival surrounding it. The schedule includes a gravel exhibition, a night-time challenge, gravel rides, a festive village, and bikepacking options, appealing to riders seeking more than just a start and a finish. The routes vary from the 42 km Angers Guinguette to the 500 km Gravel Loire Legend, with other distances including 70, 102, 170, 200, 280, and 300 km. The longer bikepacking routes are for experienced riders, particularly the 300 km wild loop, while the 170 km option offers a shorter off-road adventure. Courses traverse the Angers region and nearby Loire-side towns like Lac de Maine, Les Ponts-de-Cé, Bouchemaine, Savennières, Loire-Authion, Trélazé, and Gennes-Val-de-Loire, incorporating lakes, ponds, gravel paths, and village stops.
