The Norco Downhill Series is a three-round downhill mountain bike competition held at Hidden Vale Adventure Park in Grandchester, Queensland. The races take place on Sundays during the cooler months. Participants need a current AusCycling race membership or a one-day event license. Round 2 is integrated into the HVAP schedule, with rider briefings, course specifics, and shuttle details available on the park’s event page. The categories cater to various skill levels and age groups: Under-19 seniors, Sport (for novices), Expert, Elite, Vets (30-40 years), and Masters (40+ years). Separate eBike categories exist for men and women. Junior categories include Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 for both boys and girls. E-mountain bikes must be pedal-assist only up to 25 km/h, feature a mid-drive motor, have at least 26-inch wheels, and riders are prohibited from carrying a spare battery during the race.
