Le Duo Etoilé - 21 km 2026

Le Duo Etoilé is a 21 km trail race in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, held in the evening in late June as part of the Mont-Blanc trail weekend. The format is key: runners compete in teams of two, with pairs and couples forming a large portion of the participants. It is not an ultra, but the effort is significant for a short race, featuring 1,450 meters of elevation gain along the route. The race begins in front of the town hall and concludes in the center of Chamonix at Place du Triangle de l'Amitié, a finish location with strong ties to the Mont-Blanc trail community. The initial section feels intimate, as teammates start together and spectators are close from the outset. At the finish, duos are cheered in like heroes, offering a distinct atmosphere compared to a solo mountain run: the narrative is as much about supporting your partner as it is about personal achievement.
