JD Duathlon Series 1 2026

Mandeville Sports Club hosts the first race in the Tuffnell Drainage JD Duathlon Series 2026. This is a club-style duathlon: run, bike, run, bike, run, with categories from first timer through to elite athlete, plus Novice, Junior, Youth, and Kids 5-9 years fields. The running laps are anticlockwise, while the bike section uses a flat onroad course, with no drafting allowed. Kids remain on the grass within the sports grounds for their run/bike/run, keeping it simple and contained. It seems like the sort of event where the basics are key: clear format, safe setup, and organisers who race themselves and understand what makes a day successful.
