The 26th Annual Ed McGuire Memorial Cannonball Run 2026

The Ed McGuire Memorial Cannonball Run begins with a cannon firing on Main Street in Falls Village, Connecticut. The 5K run, based at 108 Main Street, starts at noon for runners and 11:30 a.m. for walkers. This is the 25th running of the event, co-sponsored by the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department and Shelly's Hair Salon. The main race is 3.1 miles on a course being prepared for USATF certification. Walkers and people with disabilities can use a separate 2.5-mile course. After the finish, awards are presented on the town green across all age groups. Downtown parking and restrooms are available. Pre-registered runners receive a souvenir shirt, and proceeds benefit the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department.
