Salute Red, White, and Blue 2026

Salute Red, White, and Blue is a running event at Camp Shelby in Mississippi, with three race options: an 11K, a 5K, and an 11-mile run. Its first edition drew more than 500 runners, including participants from eight states. The race supports the Youth Challenge Academy, with proceeds going toward scholarship funds for cadets enrolled there. The event also brings the academy into the day itself, with patriotic music from the cadet choir and a drill exhibition by one of its platoons.
