Casablanca Classic 8K & 3K 2026

The Casablanca Classic 8K & 3K is a November running event held at Lakeside Pavilion in Fifty Point Conservation Area, situated on the Hamilton-Niagara border along Lake Ontario. It features two timed races: a 3K and an 8K. The 3K begins in the morning, with the 8K starting shortly thereafter. Registration and kit collection are available on race day before the events commence. ChampionChip timing is utilized, and all finishers will receive medals. The course is flat, fast, and clearly marked, winding through the conservation area adjacent to Lake Ontario. This route is ideal for runners aiming for a personal best, walkers or beginners opting for the 3K, and local athletes seeking a straightforward late-season competition. The event benefits the Grimsby Benevolent Fund. Participants can also bring household and food donations for an on-site drop-off, including items like laundry soap, dish soap, hygiene products, canned fruit, fruit juice, tea, and coffee. Complimentary parking at Fifty Point is provided for participants and spectators.
