2026 Veterans Day 5 Race

This event is a race that also serves as an opportunity to gather in camaraderie, community, and gratitude while directly supporting the heroes at Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids. Every registration, volunteer hour, and sponsorship contributes to strengthening quality-of-life programs and meaningful experiences for the veteran residents. New for 2026 is the Steps for Heroes fundraising challenge. Participants can register as fundraisers through the Veterans Day 5 RunSignup page, create a team, and invite others to support their efforts. Participants can walk in their neighborhood, take the stairs, use a trail, or engage in any physical activity to raise funds for the Michigan Veteran Homes Grand Rapids Charitable Support Fund. Participants are encouraged to build teams, foster friendly competition, and track their impact leading up to race day.
