Central Florida Heroes 5k 2026

The Central Florida Heroes 5K is a 7:30 a.m. community run starting at the Tom Fellows Community Center in Davenport, Florida. It takes place on Veterans Day weekend, honoring veterans, active military, firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, teachers, and healthcare professionals. The race is chip-timed, costs $35 before a price increase, and is designed for families and runners seeking an organized 5K with awards. The course is 5 kilometers. Packet pickup is available the day before at Jarrett Gordon Ford in Davenport. Expect traffic delays near the community center on race morning due to road closures. Participants get a race shirt, custom bib, finisher medal, and vendor giveaways. A pancake breakfast is served post-race while participants await the awards ceremony. This is the event's fifth year.
