Om dette løpet
Vaskapu emerges from the Visegrád Hills, with the Brilli Gyula shelter near its summit. This old mountain house, protected since 1914, serves as a natural meeting point for runners and hikers. The Vaskapu Trail resembles a local hill race centered on the ridge: a summit effort, forest air, and the view over the river bend, situated above old cellar rows and narrow streets.
The race offers a sharp summit climb and longer trail loops, with starts and finishes at Vaskapu, the shelter, or Márta panzió, depending on the route. Participants will include families and children on shorter options, steady trail runners on the middle course, and ultra-focused runners seeking a challenge. The unique aspect is straightforward: several routes share the same mountain character, and the finish returns participants to Vaskapu for the panorama and the shelter's atmosphere.
