Media Maratón Lebrija 2026

The Media Maratón Lebrija is a 21.097 km half marathon held in Lebrija, located at the southern edge of Seville province near the marshes of the Lower Guadalquivir. It begins at 10:00 from the municipal sports center on Calle Darro, which also functions as the finish line. This event, now in its fifth edition, is organized by Club de Atletismo Lebrija and is part of Andalusia’s expanding half-marathon offerings during the autumn road-running season. The course winds through the municipality's interior, avoiding typical big-city waterfronts or tourist areas. Participants will run through a town known for its vineyards, mosto (young wine), Mudejar architecture, and its connection to Antonio de Nebrija, the humanist credited with publishing the first grammar of Castilian Spanish. The organization provides practical amenities for runners, including marked kilometer points, aid stations, a cloakroom, post-finish toilets and showers, and a technical shirt and finisher medal for all participants.
