Trail Entre o Dão e o Mondego 2026

The IV Trail Between the Dao and the Mondego is a trail running event held on November 8, 2026, in Carregal do Sal, Viseu, Portugal. The event features multiple distances: a 24 km Long Trail, a 14 km Short Trail, a 12 km Walk, and an inclusive trail up to 5 km designed for participants with various disabilities. Participants must be 16 years or older for the short and inclusive trails, and 18 years or older for the long trail. The event aims to promote physical activity and tourism by showcasing the region's historical, cultural, and environmental heritage. The course will be marked and electronically timed, with aid stations providing food and drinks, and specialized support including medical services. The top three male and female finishers in both trail distances will receive monetary prizes and trophies.
