The Garda Trentino Half Marathon is a road race held in November in Riva del Garda, situated at the northern tip of Lake Garda in Italy. The primary event is the standard half marathon (21.097 km), complemented by a 10K, a 4 km Run4Fun, and children's races. This event attracts runners to the Trentino-Alto Adige region for a race weekend centered on the lake, the adjacent mountains, and the communities at the northern end of Garda.
The half marathon connects Arco with Riva del Garda, tracing the lake shore for a significant portion of its path. Established to showcase the Garda Trentino area, the course integrates the local landscape beyond mere scenery. Recent editions have seen fields of approximately 5,000 participants. The event's organization includes pacers, shuttle services, GPS course data, historical results, prize money, and child care facilities, contributing to the atmosphere of a comprehensive race weekend.
