From a Henley basecamp, Chilterns 50 follows a looped trail route through Chilterns countryside, featuring “historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves and scenic views.” It offers a full weekend on the trails, not just a race, with on-site camping and parking, a Saturday night meal, and a bar to foster practicality and social interaction around the running. The course is marked with arrows and glow sticks where necessary, with GPS tracking via an app and covered rest stops spaced to allow the day to be broken into manageable sections.
