ULTRA-TRAIL® GUARA SOMONTANO HG 2026

Ultra-Trail Guara Somontano HG begins in Alquézar, Huesca, situated on the border of the Sierra y Cañones de Guara Natural Park in northern Spain. This event takes place over an autumn weekend, offering multiple trail distances: 17 km, 30 km, 50 km, and ultra-distance routes. It caters to both regular trail runners and those seeking a substantial mountain challenge. The routes traverse the park’s trails through the Sierra de Guara and its canyon landscapes, featuring autumn foliage and the initial signs of winter at higher elevations. The longest UTMB Index race spans 82 km with 4,700 metres of elevation gain. The event has attracted participants from Spain and France. Now in its tenth year, UTGS has established a history within Spanish trail running and has been associated with the Spain Ultra Cup.
