Alhama Trail 2026

Alhama Trail is a mountain race and hiking event held in Alhama de Murcia. Its routes depart from the town and enter the Sierra de la Muela. Two competitive race options are available: trail and promo. A non-competitive hiking march covers the same terrain for those who prefer not to race. The course crosses the Sierra de la Muela and a section of the Barrancos de Gebas, presenting a landscape of mountain paths and ravine terrain near the town. Recent route adjustments have altered the access from the urban area to the sierra due to construction on the ascent to Alhama castle. Most finishes now utilize this same modified approach. The hiking march also features a revised final descent.
