BBK Mendi Martxak - Getxo 2026

The BBK Mendi Martxak - Getxo is a 15.9-kilometer mountain race and walk held in Getxo, Biscay. This event, a collaboration between BBK and the Biscay Mountain Federation (BMF-FVM), aims to showcase the natural environment of Biscay, promote environmental respect, and encourage the inclusion of people with disabilities in mountaineering. The routes are designed to be accessible, with a limited participant capacity of 450 to 500 people to prevent overcrowding. Registration opens 15 days before each event via the federation's website, and a chip is used for start and finish timing. The registration fee is donated to non-profit social organizations.
