5. Sonneberger Spielzeuglauf 2026

The Sonneberger Spielzeuglauf is a running event in Sonneberg, held in September as part of the city’s World Children’s Day. This fifth edition runs alongside the first Sonneberger Firmenlauf, combining the toy-themed race with a new company run. Both races use the same routes, according to local athletics organizers. Their Facebook message describes the setup as “one event, same routes, double the fun.” The newer Firmenlauf adds workplace teams to a race day already tied to children and local tradition.
