1020 RUN 2026

The 1020 RUN is a community running event held at Terrain de Verdeaux in Renens, western Lausanne. The City of Renens' Physical Activity and Sport sector organizes it, gathering residents from Renens and neighboring towns for a race day focused on local participation, not just elite athletes. The event features a main race, a relay, and a Trophée des Ecoles for students. It welcomes families, friends, colleagues, classmates, individual runners, and spectators. Food stalls are available for those remaining after the races. Now in its eighteenth edition, the race is a well-established local tradition, not a singular community run.
