St.Johanner Oktoberlauf

The St. Johanner Oktoberlauf is a traditional National Day running event held in Sankt Johann. All races commence from Maria-Schiffer-Platz in the town center. The primary event is a short road race, consisting of four approximately 1.5 km circuits for a total of 6 km. The schedule also features the Raiffeisen Juniorlauf, catering to children up to age 13, and the SBS team race. The children’s race begins on the main square, proceeds towards Silbergasser, and circles back through the town park. Distances range from 360 to 800 meters, varying by age group. The main course winds through central streets, including Silbergasser, H. Kappacherstrasse, Färbergasse, Spitalgasse, Leo-Neumayrstrasse, Kirchengasse, and Hauptstrasse. In the team competition, three participants each complete a 1.5 km lap, following the same loop structure.
