Waterford 5K 2026

The Waterford 5K is a 3.1-mile run/walk held in the evening within Miami’s Waterford Business District. This office-park route features lakes and fountains. It welcomes runners and walkers, accommodating corporate teams, friends, and families alongside competitive racers. The event typically occurs in November and includes a brief warm-up prior to the start. The race embraces its nighttime setting with LED and glow gear, illuminated areas, a large screen, and DJs at the start and post-race stage. Finishers earn medals, and age-group awards are presented for categories from 14-and-under to 70-and-older. The top male and female finishers receive glass trophies and a cash bonus. Corporate team tents, food vendors, market vendors, and rides for various ages contribute to an atmosphere resembling a company picnic and family night more than a standard 5K. Proceeds benefit Holtz Children’s Hospital, a major children's hospital in the southeastern United States.
