Harbour Wallbanger 2026

We are delighted to be bringing this event back in 2026. Once again we are workng partnership with Thanet Roadrunners AC. This event starts on the beach at Broadstairs at low tide and runs all the way to Ramsgate, where you bang the Harbour Wall (hence Harbour Wallbanger - simple!) before returning to sunny Broadstairs. It is a unique event and a great way to enjoy the late sun on the beach in September! We also have a male and female team prize. All you need is three people in your team. So get your mates together and have a go to see if you can scoop a team prize. This is open to any team or club, whether you are affiliated or just a group of friends running together. This route is suitable for both beginners and more experienced runners! There will be all our usual fun and friendly atmosphere. Bring the whole family and enjoy this lovely coastal location. We will be providing a live feed onto our website for results - so cross the line and your result goes live! There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female,1st Male and Female VET40, 50 and 60. Plus 1st place male and female team. Facilities at venue: Toilets, but no changing facilities at this location. Car park (payable locally). Full refreshments available on-site. Entry fee: 7k Advanced entries: £24 affiliated club members, £26 unaffiliated On-the-day (subject to space): £30  Advanced entries available until 1pm the Wednesday before the event (subject to space). On the day entries may be available subject to space until 11:30am on the day. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for this race is 15 years on the day.
