The Baiersbronn Classic is a three-day classic car and motorcycle rally centered on Baiersbronn in Germany’s Black Forest, typically held in late September. It is a road rally, not a circuit race. Eligible vehicles are historic machines up to the 1979 model year. The appeal lies in 500 km of winding Black Forest roads, combined with a vintage motorsport atmosphere and substantial food stops.
The route traces the path of the old Ruhestein hill climb, which helped revive German motorsport after World War II. The Baiersbronn Classic has incorporated this heritage since 2013. Participants face regular rally challenges, but the event's local distinction is culinary. Baiersbronn’s leading chefs prepare dishes throughout the weekend, including checkpoint rewards that are food items instead of just a stamp on a card.
